The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands. – Psalm 138:8
We work hard on a daily basis, to improve our way of living. We go at it for hours because we believe what we’re working towards the answer to our success. Sometimes we miss out on a single most important aspect of our journey when we fail to include God in these plans and strategies.
You are the work of God! He created you. And there’s nothing like a living God taking control of what He’s created. What am I trying to say here? I’m saying that God doesn’t abandon those who are obedient to Him. There’s no way He will leave you hanging and embarrassed for the faith you’ve placed in Him.
We take aim at raising our children and grandchildren. We have goals targeted and go hard after them. We should make sure God is included in those planning stages because He knows what we need and what’s good for us (Matthew 6:8). He knows what will benefit us the most. Going after our goals with God directing which way to go, which door to open and so forth, will always yield success in whatever we go after. Seek a perfect God to get perfect results. Seek Him first (Matthew 6:33) and then go forward with your plans.
