By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible. – Hebrews 11:3
Genesis 1:1 tells us about the time it all started. We weren’t there when this world was created. We weren’t there when God spoke the words, “Let There Be” and out of nothing, whatever he said would be, became. We weren’t there when the world was populated with animals, fowls and fish. And we weren’t there when man was created and then the woman created out of man.
But something inside us, that spiritual portion of our existence, gives us inclinations that there is a divine reason we have what we have today. Some people want to call it science, some say evolution. Some even say there is no God and perhaps things just happened. But by faith, most of us know there is a God and He is the one who created what we see. John wrote:
All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. – John 1:3
And by faith, we believe it happened the way it is reported to us in the scripture. We weren’t there, but by faith, we believe God is responsible for our very existence.
