Don’t Wait ‘Til the Weekend

Don’t Wait ‘Til the Weekend

I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

Too many of us are pulling up short on The Lord. When Jesus said “Take up your cross and follow me,” He intended for us to do that every day of the week. Too many of us have made it a tradition to worship on Sunday or Saturday while neglecting the other six days in the week.

Taking up our cross means neglecting the ways of the world and forsaking our desires to serve The Lord, every day. To bless the Lord at all times means to do the things that make Him pleased with us. When we worship Him, we please Him.

So don’t wait until the weekend. Lift up your voice and praise Him in your conversations with others. Bless Him by representing Him well throughout the week. In so doing, you’ll demonstrate to others that He is worthy to be glorified and perhaps they too won’t wait until the weekend.
